I am so suggestible lately. I look at pictures on I Can Has Cheezburger and I find myself thinking, "Hey, a cheeseburger! What a great idea!" Or I read a story in which somebody makes someone else a chocolate cake, and I can barely focus on the plot because I'm thinking "Mmmm, chocolate caaaaake" and wondering if we have the ingredients in the house. Technically this is when I'm supposed to start experiencing food cravings, and I'm not sure if these qualify; I never feel like I *must* have the food in question. More that it suddenly seems like a really, REALLY good idea to have the food in question. Even though it probably isn't. (We actually went out for cheeseburgers yesterday, and I felt kind of sick afterward.)

Bodies are weird.

Hee! If you want to be tempted by even more foodstuffs, this is a cute SPN story about Dean taking home ec that requires absolutely no canon knowledge to appreciate, and is very cute: http://trollprincess.livejournal.com/1086261.html

Chocolate cake? There's a recipe I've been wanting to try... :-)

Speaking of which, I haven't seen you guys in awhile. I'd like to fix that, some way that sounds good to you, in the next couple weeks maybe, if you're up for it?

I chewed ice for the last three months of my pregnancy ... that was my only craving. Never did it before; haven't done it since. Weird. (Lo-cal and hydrating, but bad for the tooth enamel. *g*)

I never had cravings, per se, though I did stop eating chocolate for a month or two. It was just suddenly.... unappealing. And then, just as suddenly, tasted good again.

I had a friend who kept peeled oranges on her bedside table at night during her pregnancy, and she would wake up in the middle of the night and eat them. She just couldn't get enough.

I craved fruit. My sense of smell got really strong and I would wander the produce department sniffing in ecstasy.

When pregnant, I had an overpowering, all-consuming desire for Mexican food. Too bad I'm deathly allergic to peppers.

But largely my cravings fell into the easily distracted by food I waaaaaaant now I can't stop thinking about waaaaaant category, with the exception of Dean and Deluca's cobb salad no egg extra avocado. I ate that 4 times a week for about 3 months.
